Getting started

Before you start

  • Sign up with a studio account. You'll be the studio manager.
  • Have your logo, a short description, your address, opening hours and a contact phone number or email to hand.
  • Have your business and bank details ready for Stripe, which handles your payouts.

Step by step

  1. Check your setup tasks

Open Studio setup. It lists your tasks under Studio profile, Payouts & Stripe and Go live, and marks the ones that are Required. Until you're finished, a bar at the top of every page shows how many required tasks are left.

  2. Fill in your studio profile

Open Studio Profile and add your Studio name, Studio Logo, About, address and opening hours, plus a Phone Number or Email under Contact. Studio Pictures are optional but make your page more inviting. Click Save profile.

  3. Set up payouts

Open Billing and click Set up payouts in the Studio Payouts card. Stripe takes you through verifying your business and bank account. When you're back, use Refresh status until Charges and Payouts are both on.

  4. Wait for Moveya to approve you

Once your required tasks are done, the bar at the top changes to Awaiting Moveya while we review your listing. Members can book as soon as your studio is approved. Follow progress under Moveya review on Studio setup.

  5. Add your team

Open Staff, enter each person's email, choose Trainer or Studio manager, and click Send Invites. Each person needs a Moveya account first. The Free plan allows up to 3 team members, including you.

  6. Add your classes

Open Bookings and click + (Create class), or click an empty slot on the calendar. Choose the instructor under Teacher Name so the class shows on their Attendance page.

  7. Create class packs

Open Packages to set up class packs members can buy. This page needs a Pro or Enterprise plan.

  8. Share your studio

On Studio Profile, use Copy profile link to share your studio page by message or on social media. On Pro and Enterprise plans, Website widgets lets you add booking to your own website.

  9. Keep an eye on your workspace

Open Studio Workspace for this month's revenue, customers and open tasks, plus your plan, payout and profile status, with shortcuts to everything else. If anything isn't working, open Support.

Common questions

Why can't I create a class?

Classes can only be created once your Stripe payouts are set up. Go back to Billing and finish Set up payouts until Charges and Payouts are both on.

Can members book before Moveya approves my studio?

No. Members can't book until your studio is approved. While you wait, Moveya review on Studio setup shows as In progress.

Do I need to add photos?

No. Photos is optional on the checklist, but a few gallery images make your studio page much more appealing.

An invite says the person isn't signed up yet. What do I do?

Invites only work for people who already have a Moveya account with that email. Ask them to sign up, then invite them again. People who already belong to another studio can't be added.

Why did a Set your training target window pop up?

It's for your own personal account, so Moveya can recommend classes to you. It doesn't affect your studio, and you can skip it.

Which of these pages need a Pro plan?

In this guide, Packages and Website widgets need a Pro or Enterprise plan, and the Free plan allows up to 3 team members. Everything else here works on every plan.
