How billing works

Pro is billed monthly via Stripe at £79/month. The branded mobile app is an optional £149/month add-on for Pro studios. An optional one-time App Store and Google Play setup fee may apply when your app is submitted.

If a Pro subscription invoice remains unpaid, Moveya gives a 5-day grace period. After that, the venue becomes inactive for members (hidden from discovery and blocked for new bookings) until the outstanding balance is cleared. Existing confirmed bookings are still honoured. This is separate from admin Suspend, which is a trust/compliance action.

Per-booking fees

Moveya withholds an all-in marketplace fee from the class or pack gross at payment capture: 5% + £0.20 on Free, or 4% + £0.20 on Pro and Enterprise (active or trialing). That rate includes Moveya's commission and card processing. Members also pay a separate Moveya service fee of 4.9% (max £0.99) (shown at checkout), which is retained by Moveya and is not studio revenue. The all-in studio fee is deducted from your payout — it is not added as an extra line on the member's class price. The member's 4.9% (max £0.99) Moveya service fee is added on top of your price at checkout. Free uses 5% + £0.20; Pro uses 4% + £0.20.

• All-in studio fee: 5% + £0.20 on Free, or 4% + £0.20 on Pro (includes Moveya commission and card processing)
• Statements — Stripe column: actual Stripe fee for the card used (Moveya residual = all-in minus Stripe)
• Member Moveya service fee: 4.9% (max £0.99) added at checkout (retained by Moveya; not your revenue)

Example (Free): £20.00 class → member pays £20.98 → all-in £1.20 (5% + £0.20) from gross → you receive £18.80. On Pro, all-in is £1.00 (4% + £0.20) → you receive £19.00. Statements may show e.g. Moveya £0.70 + Stripe £0.50 (illustrative UK card on Free).

Stripe Connect payouts

Connect your studio to Stripe to accept card payments. When a member books a paid class, checkout runs through Stripe's secure flow. The member pays your price plus the Moveya service fee. Your Connect balance receives class gross minus Moveya and Stripe processing. By default, bank payouts are weekly (Mondays) — shown in Billing as "Bank payouts: Weekly (Mondays)" once Connect is ready. Moveya may grant daily payouts to trusted studios.

For a £20.00 paid class on either Free or Pro:

Pro subscription (£79/month) is billed separately and lowers the all-in marketplace fee to 4% + £0.20. The Moveya service fee is Moveya revenue, not studio gross.

Cancellations, refunds, and fee responsibility

Each class defines its own refund cutoff and booking close time. When you publish classes, you choose how many hours before start a member must cancel for an automatic refund, and when new bookings close. Members see the policy on the class page before booking.

• Member cancels within your refund window → refund of the class price only (Moveya keeps the service fee; you absorb Stripe processing)
• Member cancels outside that window → no automatic refund (unless you choose otherwise)
• You cancel or remove a published class → refund of the class price only (Moveya keeps the service fee; you absorb Stripe processing)

On an eligible cancel (member- or studio-initiated, for a class or unused pack), the member is refunded the class/pack price only; Moveya retains the 4.9% (max £0.99) Moveya service fee; Moveya waives its all-in marketplace fee (5% + £0.20 Free / 4% + £0.20 Pro); and the actual Stripe fee for that payment is debited from the Studio's Stripe Connect balance. Stripe's processing cost varies by payment method, card type, and card origin.

Illustrative example only (exact Stripe amounts depend on the card used): on a £20.00 class (member paid £20.98), if the booking is cancelled they get £20.00 back, Moveya keeps £0.98, and the Studio is charged the actual Stripe fee for that payment — not the member service fee. Unused pack cancels within the pack window use the same rules. See Plans & Fees for worked examples.

Stripe's card processing cost is not refunded by the card networks — that is why the actual Stripe fee pass-through remains a Studio cost on refunds. Moveya waives its all-in platform fee (5% + £0.20 Free / 4% + £0.20 Pro) on those refunds and keeps the Moveya service fee only when the member cancels.
