Revenue

Track the money your studio takes

What this page is for

Revenue shows what members paid you through Moveya each month, what came out in fees and refunds, and what Stripe has paid into your bank. It's built from your Stripe payments, so cash or bank transfers taken outside Moveya don't appear here.

Before you start

  • Use Set up payouts in the Studio payouts card on the Billing page. Revenue stays empty until Stripe onboarding is complete.

Step by step

  1. Choose the month

Open Revenue and pick a month from the month dropdown at the top. Every section is for that month, apart from the trend chart.

  2. Read what came in

In Overview, Gross collected is the total charged to members before any fees. Fees is the Moveya fee plus Stripe card processing, including the cost of processing refunds. Refunded is money returned to members. Net earnings is what you keep after fees, with the change against the previous month.

  3. Check what has reached your bank

Pending payout is money still held in Stripe that hasn't been sent to your bank yet. Paid out is money Stripe has already sent, along with how many paid transactions there were for classes, events, courts, matches and packs.

  4. Filter the payments

Use All payments to show only Paid, Pending, Refunded, Failed or Unpaid payments, and All payouts to show only Paid out or Pending. The cards and statement update to match. Click the X to clear the filters.

  5. Look at the trend and breakdown

Trends shows gross, net and refunds month by month. Choose how far back with the trend dropdown, from Last month to Last 12 months. Cashflow shows each day of the month, Waterfall shows how gross becomes net retained after each fee, and Mix shows how much came from classes, events, courts, packs and other sales.

  6. Act on alerts

Alerts lists money problems for the month, such as failed or unpaid bookings, payments still processing, rising refunds or a payout delay. Click an alert to see Why this rating, the Impact and a Recommended action.

  7. Check the statement

Statement lists every transaction for the month with what was paid in, the Moveya fee, the Stripe fee and a running balance. Click a row for full details, or use Download PDF to keep a copy.

Common questions

What's included on each plan?

Every plan includes the Overview cards. Trends, Cashflow, Waterfall, Mix, Alerts and Statement are part of the Pro and Enterprise plans, and show a lock on the Free plan.

Why doesn't this match my bank account?

Revenue groups payments by the date the member paid. Stripe pays money into your bank later, so some of a month's earnings may still be under Pending payout. Check Paid out to see what has actually been sent.

Why don't these numbers match Analytics?

Analytics counts bookings by the date the class runs, including bookings made with pack credits. Revenue only counts money paid through Stripe, by the date it was paid.

Do class pack bookings show up here?

The pack shows up when it's bought. Booking a class with pack credits isn't a new payment, so it doesn't add to Gross collected.

What is the Moveya fee?

It's Moveya's share of each payment, shown separately from Stripe's card processing fee. There's no Moveya fee on refunded bookings.

Where do I get a file for my accountant?

Use the Accounting page. It uses the same totals as Revenue and has CSV and PDF exports.
