What this page is for

Analytics shows how your classes are doing: bookings, attendance, no-shows, page views and which clients are drifting away. Use it to spot quiet time slots, classes with lots of no-shows and clients worth getting back in touch with.

Before you start

  • Take attendance for your classes on the Attendance page. Without it, attendance and no-show figures stay low or empty.
  • Give each class an instructor and a category so the trainer and category filters are useful.

Step by step

  1. Pick the date range

Open Analytics and choose a range from the date dropdown: Past 5 + next 5 days (the default), Today, Last week, Last 30 days or Custom range. Classes are counted by the date they run, so ranges that include future days already show upcoming bookings.

  2. Narrow it down

Use the filters along the top to focus on one trainer, one class category, a booking status, or page views from Web or App only. Click the X at the start of the row to clear every filter.

  3. Read the headline numbers

The Overview section shows Total Bookings (confirmed bookings for classes in the range, with the change against the previous period of the same length) and Conversion Rate (bookings divided by page views). Website widget and Branded app show how many bookings came through each.

  4. Check your traffic

In Traffic, Page Views and Traffic shows daily views of your studio profile and class pages, and Web and App Traffic shows how those views split between the website and the app.

  5. Check attendance health

In Attendance, the Attendance Health chart shows attendance, cancellation and no-show rates over time. Below it, No-shows by Class lists the classes with the highest no-show rate and the Weekday x Hour Occupancy Heatmap shows which time slots fill up and which stay quiet.

  6. Find clients to contact

In Clients, At-risk clients lists regulars who haven't been in for a while and Lapsed clients lists people who have stopped coming. Click Message on either list to write to that group from Marketing.

  7. Review the risks

The Risks section's Risk Exposure card flags problems such as repeat no-shows, a weak time slot, a cancellation spike or potential churn. Each one explains why it was flagged and links to the chart behind it.

  8. Jump to one section

Use the section dropdown (Overview, Attendance, Traffic, Clients, Retention or Risk) to open just the part you need. Overview opens everything. You can also click any section heading to expand or collapse it.

Common questions

What's included on each plan?

Every plan includes the Overview booking numbers, the Traffic page view charts, the Rates view of Attendance Health and the Events summary. Pro and Enterprise plans add the other Attendance Health views, Instructor Performance, New vs Returning Attendees, Lead Time vs No-show Risk, No-shows by Class, the occupancy heatmap, Bookings Funnel, the Clients section, Risk Exposure, and the Pack Sales and Credits Used cards. Cards outside your plan show a lock.

How is the attendance rate worked out?

It's the number of people marked attended or late, divided by confirmed bookings. People marked absent or excused count as no-shows. Bookings where attendance wasn't taken count as booked but not attended, which pulls the rate down.

Who counts as at-risk or lapsed?

At-risk clients have visited at least 3 times and haven't had a class for 14 days or more, but less than 60. Lapsed clients visited before the selected range and haven't been back for 60 days or more.

Why don't these numbers match Revenue?

Analytics counts bookings by the date the class runs, including bookings paid with pack credits or memberships. Revenue shows money that went through Stripe, grouped by the date it was paid. A class booked in March for April appears in April here and in March on Revenue.

Why don't I see an Events section?

It only appears when your events had paid bookings in the selected date range.
